I’m Silvia Salis, a translator, editor, proofreader and language teacher working in Italian, English and Spanish. I hold a master’s degree in literary and specialised translation.

My work includes editorial translation, board game localisation, editing and proofreading, corporate language training and language teaching. I also teach at secondary-school level and design courses, workshops and university seminars on languages, translation and editorial practice. I have worked with publishers, companies and training organisations.

In every area, the first step is a careful assessment of the materials, the intended audience and the project objectives. Timelines, working methods and the overall approach are clearly agreed from the outset.
